The ever so popular Pumpkin Spice Lattes at Starbucks are getting a revamp this year. The company has said goodbye to controversial caramel coloring and added a new secret ingredient kick this year. What is it? Well let’s see if you can guess with this hint:
That’s right. They’re adding real pumpkin. Who knew. The official PSL (Pumpkin Spice Latte) season will begin September 8th. Macros for a Grande (16 oz) Nonfat PSL w/no whipped cream: 0F 51C 14P (PS. If you have trouble fitting this into your macros, a “short”, 8oz will have half of these macros and can help satisfy the craving!) Don’t forget you can also ask for an Iced PSL for about the same macros!
The company has already released it’s fall inspired products (thank goodness), and has added some fun new treats along the way…
Pumpkin Pie Coolatta: made with “real pumpkin puree and spice flavors, with crumbled graham cracker pieces mixed in.”
Pumpkin Cheesecake Square: “filled with smooth and creamy pumpkin cheesecake filling and topped with orange icing, crumbled graham cracker topping and finished with a white icing drizzle.”
Reese’s Peanut Butter Square: “filled with rich and creamy Reese’s peanut butter cream, topped with chocolate icing and finished with an orange icing drizzle to match the colors of the traditional Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups.”
I’ve never been a coolatta/ donut girl (I’m #teamcookie), but you will definitely spot me with their pumpkin muffins and pumpkin munchkins this season 😉
