I chose this quote to piggyback my Lack of Motivation? post. Don’t let the journey ahead scare you from doing it.
Here’s a look at my journey since starting my last workout program. Weeks 0 to Week 5 I gained almost 8 lbs, but Week 5 to Week 8 I’m still at the same weight. I haven’t changed my intake or anything.
Am I frustrated? Sure. Do I feel stuck? Sure. Will I give up? No.
I’m not trying to “achieve” anything. I’m building muscle and maintaining a healthy and balanced lifestyle. That’s all I want to achieve. Sure, I want to see gains but I’m confident and comfortable right now with how I’m living.
So am I perfect? No. But am I fabulous? …..
oh hell yes.
