Motivation Monday: How will you be remembered?

Last weekend I went up to my friend’s lake house on Lake Sebago in Maine. It was an absolute blast and I got to meet her parents, siblings, and even cousins.

This weekend I was at my best friend’s house for a BBQ where I finally met her boyfriend of two years. One of those- we know everything about each other but have never really hung out together for an extended period of time.

Both weekends I met people that I probably won’t see again for a really long time, so I guess you could say my first impression was really important. (It may be my only impression…)

That got me thinking to how many people we meet in our every day lives that are only given one day, one hour, one minute to know YOU.

How will you be remembered?

Take some time to think about how you think you will be remembered and ask your friends how they would remember you if they first saw you.

Be different. Be unique. Be who YOU are.

Try your best this week to make an impression. Make people remember a positive quality about you!

I think we should work towards a state of being where it’s not a worry to make an impression but comes naturally

Passion and Purpose are two powerful words that help people find happiness and fulfillment. Stress has a tendency to distract people and send them into a “fight or flight response.” The ability to recognize this behavior and redirect oneself back to one’s passions and purpose demonstrates true personal growth and development. With this success comes new confidence and a willingness to be different, be unique and ultimately influence and impact the lives of other people. It is a journey worth taking.
